The Legendary Orioles

Members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame

"Their singing retains its power through the lush, intricately woven harmonies and searing leads. They prove why they remain forever in the hearts of their fans."                     - The Washington Post

Celebrating 53 years of singing including their hit recording Its Too Soon To Know, Tell Me So, Please Don't Go, and Crying in the Chapel, the group also features standards such as White Cliffs of Dover, Rose Ann of Charing Cross, and Sh-Boom. As Honorees of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this dynamic and talented R&B vocal group thrills audiences everywhere.

The Orioles, discovered in their home town of Baltimore Maryland, were one of the first rhythm and blues groups. Influenced by celebrities such as the Mills Brothers and the Ink Spots, they fused traditional pops songs with gospel style and arranged blues and gospel material with smooth harmonies, resulting in a style that appealed to a wide audience range.
In 1953 they recorded their multi-million seller Crying in the Chapel. They went on to become the most popular recording group in the rhythm and blues field, garnering national as well as international publicity.
